I have been looking for this game for the last 5 years remembering that the doors could flip the location and the ending was with a blue hue and kind of octopus but after 10 chat gpt queries I found what I was looking for.
i loved the chaos of the initial play i had. it was so much messing with my brain. (that was above a year ago) honestly im more curious about how the hell you did that
i kinda came into this game after having already played superliminal and manifold garden so adjusting was a lot easier for me hoping to see more down the line
this was really fun. Turned my head all around! One thing I’m really curious about though: could you give me some hints as to where to find the

“secret place near the beginning”
?
very fun and visually trippy game. I don't know if there's a good term for puzzle games that use perspective shifts in this way, but I always love seeing different approaches to it!
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed the game! As for the term, I'm not sure either, some call them non-euclidean (even if it's not true in a mathematical way) but yeah, they are lot's of approaches to see
I got this game 7 years ago and just got around to playing it now. I enjoyed the spatial thinking puzzles a lot and getting to be inside the M. C. Escher like spaces I was fascinated with as a kid! Also nice to see there keeps coming new comments in from people playing the game this many years after release.
sorry for the confusion, the start especially is made to be strange, not explain much, but after a bit you should stumble upon a part that is a lot more straightforward, with puzzles. Making it to the end still require to understand the world and how the mechanics works... Anyway, I'm glad you liked the vibes!
sadly there is no official way to do that, I should have put a freecam in a secret menu somewhere
If you are willing to try experimental things, you can try using https://github.com/sinai-dev/UnityExplorer (the mono version) with MelonLoader 0.5.7, I just tested it and it kinda works but the controls are pretty awkward so I'm not sure it's really useful
This was a lot of fun! Genuinely a great time, the style was great (though at first it was a little nauseating but I got used to it) and the puzzles are really creative! Wish there was more, can't wait for that to be continued to lead to a full release!
3rd favourite Itch Game of 2023 (other ones in this post) Will give some money to the game as thanks
The graphical style definitely helps making this so high, though I think even without it this Game would've been my favourite Puzzle-Pame of 2023. Though I do think the Shadow-UV-Texture could've been a little but less repetitive, still an amazing effect. Any hints on how to do this, the texture is applied via Screen-UV but I don't quite know of a way to get a fitting lightness value in a Fragment Shader to make it look like shading.
I really don't know what else to write because it was such a long time since I first played it (now a year ago). So I can't really comment on the Puzzles themselves.
I would be really really interested in seeing what else this game could have to offer. So if you ever do get around to continuing this then I'll be really excited to see what it's doing.
Visually this is very stunning and also so cool to roam around in these twisty spaces!
I realllly wish that there weren't any barriers or random resets. I'm sure they were very thought out for making the puzzles work but I feel like it really undersells what makes these spaces really fun. The euclidean space becomes more of a backdrop for the puzzles than the other way around.
I want to explore and break everything and mess up the puzzles because i came at it the wrong angle and just wander around and get lost and..I really like the game I just wish there was more freedom.
Also yay I get to be a floating energy jellyfish. :3
Hi, I'm glad you liked the game! And yeah, you are totally right, I would have loved to not have the resets, they feel really bad. But they are useful for the puzzle to work, like you said, and also to help players not get too lost and frustrated when they fall somewhere. I know some players love to loose themselves in those kind of environments, so I wish I found a better middle ground, but I didn't have the energy at the time. If you did not play the prototype "non euclidean room" I made before this game you should give it a try, it's super short but there is no artificial barriers and there is cool details to find in the scenery. And yeah, I love seeing my little jellyfish jiggling around through the portals :)
Yeah it seems like it'd be a hard balance to pull off! It does help with the puzzles for sure and I cant imagine what sorta mess id be in without the barriers to reign me in some haha.
I'll be sure to check out 'non euclidean room' O: thanks!
I'm sorry you have this bug, it's usually an issue with a gamepad issuing bad directions (try to unplug any) or someone reported having to uninstall an old mouse driver that was at fault
I would love to see more set in this world/with this game engine! The perspectives are mind bending but your level design is great for guiding me through once I engage with the chaos head-on.
This has always been one of my favorite games ever, because it is both masterfully simple and mind-boggingly complex.
Another game set in this world/with the same or similar mechanics would make me super happy, but we shouldn't rush master NuSan. If he makes a new game, it'll have to be because he wants to, so that it gets the love it deserves.

“secret place near the beginning”Thanks, great to see you enjoyed the game!

To reach the secret place, you have to get the first cube you can, and then go backward to the startFound it! Thanks! This was a really awesome experience.

Yes, there is always a steady amount of people discovering it, I think it has it's little place in itchio's recommandations
I'm glad you enjoyed the game, thank you for the nice comment!
im sorry but the game is wayy too confusing :/ love the graphics and vibes tho

Thanks! I've since installed the mod. Vey fun to screw around with
I genuinely enjoyed this a lot, it really messed with my head a little but still very creative!
When will we get a part 2?
Love it ! I did not think much about how all of that work, I gone ahead haha

Mauritius Escher. Cool, I replay the game in my other channel. Uhm ... It will be continued? It should, I guess. Version Linux.
ngl the game is quite neat but it also has some scary vibe to it when i first played it
So cool
This is just incredible!

Just registered to say that I agree with Obippo, this needs to be on steam! I'd pay for it even to add it to my library.
AMAZING
Loved the art style and concept of the game. That gravity bridge/rising level was simply brilliant. Really looking forward to the full release:)
please, steam release! :))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
Very bad game, the mouse keeps moving on its own to the top left, i am not the only one to have that problem, please fix it. Like seriously ??
I'm sorry you have this bug, it's usually an issue with a gamepad issuing bad directions (try to unplug any) or someone reported having to uninstall an old mouse driver that was at fault
Quick reminder that has bugs does not equal bad software, or else, every single program in existence would be "bad".
I would love to see more set in this world/with this game engine! The perspectives are mind bending but your level design is great for guiding me through once I engage with the chaos head-on.

Great game. I suck at puzzle games though. It took me like 10 minutes to realise the tentacled thing I was chasing was me lol.
That was super fun and I really loved the puzzles, I hope you make a sequel !
Thanks for this game, it was fun.
Compared to other games of the genre, a bit rough, without enough tutorial puzzles, but nonetheless doable
I'll go pay for the game now, and hope you'll be able to continue on this kind of games.
11/10 Kinda sad it ended so soon but the way the game works is really cool.
Mind-blowing
